About This Ingredient

Controlled month-long fermentation converts unstable allicin into stable S-allyl-cysteine.

The mechanism: an antioxidant ferment, characterised in vitro.

What it does not do: black garlic does not grow hair, and we don't use the “10× more potent” multiplier — that figure came from generic market black garlic in assay-dependent chemistry (Choi, Molecules 2014), not from this ingredient. The breakage receipt in this line is the ceramide (Bernard, Int J Cosmet Sci 2002).
