Hydrolyzed Keratin

Hydrolyzed Keratin

Low-molecular-weight keratin shown to rebuild shaft diameter on bleach-damaged hair ex vivo — re-applied with every wash.

About This Ingredient

A sub-3-kDa keratin hydrolysate (AC Keratin Hydrolysate 30 PET), carried across our density and repair lines at 0.06–0.16%.

The receipt: single-fibre work on damaged hair shows low- and mid-weight keratin peptides rebuilding shaft diameter within four wash cycles (PMID 24796235; manufacturer co-funded work, disclosed).

What it does not do: the evidence is ex vivo and the effect washes out over subsequent shampoo cycles — a supporting active you re-apply, not a permanent repair. No human RCT exists, and we say so.

Key Benefits

  1. Crack Filler

Low molecular weight allows it to penetrate where other proteins can’t, filling microscopic cracks in the damaged cortex.

  2. Structural Repair

Restores protein matter lost to chemical or thermal damage, returning strength to weakened, gummy hair.

  3. Immediate Strength

Increases breakage resistance from the first application. Not cosmetic—real reconstruction.
