Malachite Extract

Malachite is a copper carbonate mineral; its extract carries copper ions, used in cosmetics as an antioxidant signal.

The mechanism: copper participates in antioxidant enzyme chemistry — class evidence, in vitro.

What it does not do: there is no clinical trial behind cosmetic malachite. It is a luxury cue in the water cream, not a performance claim — the cream's receipts live with niacinamide and bisabolol, and we say so.
