About This Ingredient

Free vitamins oxidise quickly; encapsulation in lipid vesicles protects them until use.

The honest delivery number: a liposomal vitamin-C ester reached the stratum corneum at 1.2–1.3× the plain vehicle (Stolić Jovanović, Pharmaceutics 2024) — meaningful, single-digit, and we say so.

What it does not do: it is not “12× deeper”, and a rinse-off wash cannot drive vesicles into the follicle — follicular delivery needs 300–700 nm particles plus mechanical massage (Patzelt, J Control Release 2011).
