Rosemary Extract

Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract

The botanical that matched 2% minoxidil on hair count over six months (Panahi, Skinmed 2015).

About This Ingredient

Rosemary earned a head-to-head against a drug: over six months, rosemary oil matched 2% minoxidil on hair count in a 100-person randomised trial of androgenetic alopecia — with less scalp itching (Panahi, Skinmed 2015; the trial enrolled 100 men and was single-blind, by design).

The mechanism: the lab-measured pathway is 5α-reductase inhibition via 12-methoxycarnosic acid (Murata, Phytother Res 2013) — in-vitro plus mouse model, stated as such.

What it does not do: it is not a cure, the comparator was 2% (not 5%) minoxidil, and the result was measured in pattern hair loss — we don't stretch it beyond the trial.

Key Benefits

  1. Minoxidil Rival

A botanical alternative with clinical efficacy comparable to 2% Minoxidil for hair density—without irritation or dependence.

  2. Nutritive Vasodilation

Opens scalp microcapillaries, flooding each bulb with oxygen and critical nutrients to reactivate growth.

  3. Androgen Blocking

Its Carnosic Acid helps neutralize DHT, the hormone behind hereditary hair thinning.

  4. Mediterranean Antioxidant

Protects scalp tissue from environmental oxidative damage, keeping the ecosystem where your hair grows healthier.
