About This Ingredient

A berry complex carrying anthocyanins and vitamin C.

The mechanism: antioxidant chemistry, shown in vitro on skin cells (Giampieri, J Agric Food Chem 2012).

What it does not do: there is no peer-reviewed evidence for strawberry on hair — none. The hydration and softness you can measure in this line come from the Natural Moisturizing Factor complex, panthenol and hydrolysed proteins. The strawberry is the signature, not the engine.
